The Mission of the JMML Foundation is to cure JMML and to improve the quality of life of JMML patients and families worldwide through research, education, advocacy, and charity.

Through our effective, efficient management of public funds, we will be the primary enabler for the research necessary to cure JMML and the primary international support resource for families of JMML patients.

Am I doing the right thing?
Am I making the best possible use of the resources at my disposal?
Will my actions bring credit to The JMML Foundation?
Would I be willing to have my decisions made public?

We, the Board members, officers, staff, and volunteers of The JMML Foundation, will carry out the mission of this organization with the highest standards of ethical conduct and will conduct organizational and operational duties with positive leadership exemplified by open communication, creativity, dedication and compassion. We commit ourselves to the following principles:

  2. We will concern ourselves with professional competence, fairness, impartiality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  3. We will vote according to our personal convictions, yet are willing to support the decisions of the Board of Directors.
  4. We will avoid any interest or activity that is in conflict with our official duties, will refrain from actions and involvement that may prove embarrassing to the foundation and agree to resign if such actions or involvement develop.
